Do I need traction, revenue, or investing experience?
No. Scroobious is designed for early-stage founders and first-time or angel-curious investors just as much as experienced ones. You don't need traction, revenue, or prior investing experience. Everyone starts somewhere, and there are no gatekeeping milestones here. If you're committed to building, backing, or supporting new ideas, you're ready to join.
Can I use Scroobious if I'm not actively raising or investing?
Yes. Many founders join between raises, and many investors join long before writing a check. Scroobious is built for relationship-building, not deal-hunting, so it's valuable at every stage.
How is Scroobious different from LinkedIn or AngelList?
Scroobious is a relationship-first platform built for the startup ecosystem. Video-first profiles and values-based onboarding help you get to know people as whole humans and find the ones who share your goals before deciding to work together. Is Scroobious a fundraising platform or a broker-dealer?
No. Scroobious is not a fundraising platform, marketplace, or broker-dealer. We don't facilitate transactions, recommend investments, or take success fees. We provide the relationship infrastructure that helps founders, investors, and mentors find aligned people and start meaningful conversations.
How does privacy work? Who can see what?
Your profile is visible to the Scroobious community, but pitch materials are never shared automatically. Founders choose whether to upload materials and who gets access. Investors and mentors can request materials, and founders can approve or decline. We never share your information outside the platform without your permission.
My program has a Space. Do I still pay?
If your program includes membership with its Space, you join through your program's invite at no added cost.
What does it cost?
$30/month or $324/year, with a 7-day free trial. It's one flat subscription with no commissions or success fees.
Is Scroobious U.S. only?
No. Scroobious is a global community. Many members are based in the U.S., and you'll also meet founders, investors, and advisors from other countries.
